Dear Courtney--my suggestion for a Wise Unknown for you to interview is Greg Lathrop. He is a death doula and one of the Elders at the Conscious Center for Living and Dying outside Asheville, NC. He accompanied my wife and I as she approached her last breath in May 2024. Here is a link to CCLD and where you'll find Greg's "bio": https://www.ccld.community/story

Thrilled that this series is back! Will share broadly.

Recommend Curran Reichert, a broadway actor turned pastor who helps communities and groups heal from trauma. Knowledgeable about chakras, healing, grief, loss and all the hard things in life. Xo

I recommend rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum to interview for "The Wise Unknown". She retired last year from serving for 32 years in NYC as head rabbi of the largest LGBTQ+ synagogue in the world. Her "Queer Prayer for Nonviolence in Israel/Palestine", co-authored wtih Dr. Sa'ed Atshan, a gay professor from Ramallah, now teaching Peace Studies at Swarthmore, urged "a new path forward rooted in nonviolence" and quoted Gandhi's apt lesson: "Nonviolence is a weapon of the strong". They strongly condemned the "tsunami of hate and extremism in our world. Insisting over and over again on the humanity of each of us, one by one, conversation by conversation is the only way forward. In this as in so many things, no one can do everything, but each of us can do something...We pray for an immediate end to the bloodshed and for the affirmation of the dignity and sanctity of all lives."

This is the most eloquent and compelling call for peace that I've read, so consider talking with Sharon. She can be contacted at <skleinbaum2@gmail.com> Please mention my name because ever since she graduated from Barnard (BC'81), she has ranked among my closest friends. Thanks for this opportunity to convey an important message. DD

Brilliant idea for a show! And thank you for the invitation to be in conversation about our 'wise unknowns.' Here are two wise and winsome individuals: Edgar Cardenas (http://www.edgarcardenas.com/about) and Malvika Sharan (https://malvikasharan.github.io/)

in hush anonymity.
