I attended school the required number of years plus 10 more, taught 5th grade through graduate school for 35 years and I would do 90% of it differently after looking back since retiring ten years ago. I look forward to reading your book and learning more about what I could have done as a student/learner and a teacher/learner. May the ground swell beneath your words and a formidable change for the better move this country in a better and better direction.
May all the important work / changes needed in our society benefit from the extensive research, thoughtfulness, collaboration and openness you demonstrate - and live.
Congratulations on your new book, Courtney! I just placed a hold for it at my local library -- and grinned when I saw it's already on order. I'm sharing this post with my author friends, too, because I love the way you share your process. ~ xo Shelly
Great post (for me, both as a reader and as a writer) - and the timely nudge to remind me to preorder the book - done!
Thank you!
Love this! Can't wait to read the book!

Can you tackle the climate crisis next?!
HA! I think I'll sleep for awhile, but then maybe? Honored you'd think I'm up to the task.
