So wondrously expressed! Reminds me of Merton’s revelation one day when he was at an intersection and everything and everyone he saw was connected and shimmering in beauty. You help us remember that. Thank you
Thanks, Courtney! Hopeful, open-hearted, positive, non-critical ( here's to platform shoes!) - as Anne H, says, this is the best approach. Love is ALWAYS the answer.
The lady across the aisle on our plane with the face shield hat reading vanishing half who leaned over and said "you go mama!" after I explained predatory lending to my 5yo :)
I’m on my first post-COVID trip and found joy in a laundromat in Seward Alaska: thru-hike camper trying to wash every/anything he wasn’t wearing; a harried mom doing the week’s laundry while her kids wheeled around in the laundry cart; a German tourist wondering if the tap water in the restroom was drinkable (who knew laundromats have restrooms!); and us, just happy to be traveling again, and seeing everyone else out Andy breathing fresh air. 😊

Wiping away my first tears of the day. Thanks for the little jolt of joy, Courtney!
