Thanks for this Courtney. I too am feeling compelled to attend to and amplify what is sacred - because it is here, we are here, it is worth fighting for, we are worth fighting for. We're cohort-mates for Barnraisers, and I'm really excited to meet you on Friday. <3

See you there, sister. I will be the one wearing the Future is Female shirt you bought me. I don't think it's without significance that the spelling of scared and sacred are so close.

Your words and that incredible "miss you" card are beauty amidst the horror. Thank you, and thank you for the gentle reminder that sheltering in is sacred, and so is awkward Zoom as we endure even more time apart.

Harming the manatee was the lowest of low actions that have been part of this week's low behavior. Like the children in cages, manatees are without blame for anything wrong in this world. Clearly these people hold nothing with reverence. Your words are kind and helpful, Courtney,. and I will try to follow up with my actions.

I am grateful for your words and for this orientation, and the reminder that we have been and can continue on in this way, with support from one another, through "sacred distancing" (as my yoga teacher calls it). Thank you for writing and sharing.
